SSS allegedly attempts to re-arrest Omoyele Sowore in Federal High Court, Abuja

Premium Times reports that the State Security Service (SSS) has attacked the Federal High Court, Abuja, in contentious bid to re-arrest Omoyele Sowore and his colleague, Olawale Bakare. This occurred a day after their official release. The newspaper testified that the SSS Agency endeavoured to break into the court building to re-arrest them once again. Sowore and his lawyer, Femi Falana, were in court over the hearing of fundamental human rights. While Sowore and his lawyer were attempting to drive out of the court premises, operatives of the SSS instantly surrounded the court to prevent them from leaving. The security agency is yet to disclose the rationale behind the recent attempt to re-arrest Sowore.
