Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, newly endorsed the official appointment of Mohammad Bello Shehu as Secretary of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The approval was made on May 11, 2020. The recent appointment will commence effective from Tuesday, May 19, 2020, and the first tenor of the office is expected to last for five years.
Furthermore, The Nation reports that President Buhari also endorses Bitrus Chinoko’s as the Director-General of the Centre for Management Development, Lagos. Before the recent presidential approval, Chinoko served as the acting CMD.
Willie Bassey, the direction of information in the Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government, broadcasted the official, signed and endorsed Presidential appointments on Monday, May 11.
The official announcement partly states: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the following new appointments: Mohammad Bello Shehu as Secretary, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) for the initial first term of five years with effect from 19th March 2020.”
