Nigerian American’s Got Talent star and singer, Kechi Okwuchi, celebrates the 14th anniversary of Sosoliso plane crash survival

There is no other better way to celebrate life than to dedicate it to something or a special memory in one’s life. Nigerian American’s Got Talent star and singer, Kechi Okwuchi, took to social media to dedicate a video in loving memory of her colleague in high school and other casualties of Sosoliso Flight Number 1145 which departed from Abuja to arrive at Port Harcourt International Airport. The incident happened on December 10, 2005.


According to the post she shared on social media, the Sosoliso plane crash survival, was full of thanksgiving for life and indicated that she is living for the 60 angels not excluding her classmates who deceased when the calamity occurred 14 years ago. Kechi vowed to live a life that mirrors God’s glory and a life full of devotion to God. Also, she dedicated her social media post to the casualties of the crash which left a footprint in her.

Kechi, who was one of the two survivors, said: “On this day 14 yrs ago, my life almost ended at 16. Today I am 30 yrs old & so grateful to God for allowing me to live for the precious souls that were lost on December 10, 2005. I am also grateful to you all, for your support as I live my dream. RIP angels #NeverForgotten.”
