Lockdown: Funke Akindele Bello Arrested by Police and ordered Naira Marley to Report Himself (Video)

Lagos State Police Ordered the arrest of popular Actress Funke Akindele Bello.

On April 5, the Police Relation Officer in Lagos State, Bala Elkana, verified this in a statement. Bala said the famous Nollywood actress was apprehended for disobeying the restriction orders in the state due to the disease called coronavirus (CONVID 19) pandemic.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the state government had limited social associations to a maximum of 20 people and admonished people to keep a reasonable social distance.

Following the government order, the restriction affects all social gatherings like weddings, religious gatherings and other social activities that can enhance a huge crowd of people.

In an attempt to reduce the transmission of the coronavirus in the country, Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari announced the lockdown of three states which are Lagos, Ogun and the capital city, Abuja. During the lockdown, Buhari spared people of crucial service like health workers, security and so on. The lockdown is expected to occur for two weeks.

The Lagos State Police Command noted a viral video showing a large group of people mostly from the entertainment industry gathered at Funke’s residence in Amen estate. The police reported the crowd was celebrating a birthday party organised by Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello – commonly known as JJC Skillz.
