D’banj Shares Post-Traumatic Experience after 21 Months of not Sleeping in his Room

Famous Nigerian star artist, talented performer and singer, Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has taken to social media to encourage and comfort Nigerians on the global outbreak of coronavirus disease. D’banj and his beloved wife lost their only son, Daniel Jnr. on the 24th of June 2018. Daniel Jnr. was reported to have drowned in a swimming pool at their private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. In his statement, he admitted that though the horrible memories lingered in his mind, nonetheless, he and his family are eternally grateful to God.



Due to the current global pandemic, the gifted singer used his tragic encounter to admonish people that the world would pull through the infectious disease. In a recent post on his Instagram personal account, the creative artist disclosed that he slept in his room for the first time in twenty-one months. He added that he thought it won’t be challenging sleeping in his room, be that as it may, the memories are still fresh for him.
