As of April 1, 2020, Nigeria has recorded thirty-five (35) additional coronavirus cases. There has been a total of 174 confirmed cases, 9 discharged cases and 2 reported dead. Out of the thirty-five (35) new cases, nine (9) tested positive in Lagos and Osun, seven (7) in Abuja, five (5) in Akwa Ibom, two (2) in Edo, one (1) in Kaduna, one (1) in Bauchi and one (1) in Ekiti. The number of people who have tested positive for the virus has now increased enormously as stated by Nigeria Center of Disease Control (NCDC) report.
