The number of confirmed coronavirus disease cases is rising massively in Nigeria lately. Nigerians unquestionably continue to battle against the global pandemic coronavirus infection. According to the Nigerian Government agency, the country has recorded new cases of coronavirus disease on Thursday evening, May 15, 2020. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has officially reported two hundred and forty-five (245) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official record of 5162 confirmed cases, 1160 discharged cases and 167 reported dead in 34 states and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The report on the corona disease cases was disclosed by NCDC official Twitter account early hour of the morning.
The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across fifteen (15) states. The state includes: fifty-eight (58) tested positive in Lagos, forty-six (46) in Kano, thirty-five (35) in Jigawa, twelve (12) in Yobe, nine (9) in FCT Abuja, seven (7) in Ogun, five (5) in Plateau, five (5) in Gombe, four (4) in Imo, three (3) in Borno, one (1) in Bauchi, one (1) in Nasarawa and one (1) in Ondo.
