Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 4787, 959 Discharged and 158 Dead in Nigeria

The number of coronavirus confirmed cases is growing exponentially in Nigeria recently. People indisputably continue to fight against the current global pandemic health crisis known as coronavirus disease. The country has recorded new cases of coronavirus disease on Tuesday evening, May 12, according to the Nigerian Government agency. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has officially reported one hundred and forty-six (146) confirmed new coronavirus infection cases. There has been an official record of 4787 confirmed cases, 959 discharged cases and 159 reported dead in 34 states and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The report on the corona disease cases was tweeted by NCDC at about 00:08AM.

The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across twenty (20) states. The state includes: fifty-seven (57) tested positive in Lagos, twenty-seven (27) in Kano, ten (10) in Kwara, nine (9) in Edo, eight (8) in Bauchi, seven (7) in Yobe, four (4) in Kebbi, four (4) in Oyo, three (3) in Katsina, three (3) in Niger, two (2) in Plateau, two (2) in Borno, two (2) in Sokoto, two (2) in Benue, one (1) in Gombe, one (1) in Enugu, one (1) in Ebonyi, one (1) in Ogun, one (1) in FCT Abuja and one (1) in River State.
