Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 4641, 902 Discharged and 150 Dead in Nigeria

The number of coronavirus confirmed cases is continuously increasing in Nigeria recently. People unquestionably continue to battle against the current global health crisis known as coronavirus infection. The country has recorded new cases of coronavirus disease on Monday evening, May 11, according to the Nigerian Government agency. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has officially reported two hundred and forty-two (242) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official record of 4641 confirmed cases, 902 discharged cases and 150 reported dead in 34 states and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The report on the corona disease cases was tweeted by NCDC at about 11:53PM.

The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across fourteen (14) states. The state includes: eighty-eight (88) tested positive in Lagos, sixty-four (64) in Kano, forty-nine (49) in Katsina, thirteen (13) in Kaduna, nine (9) in Ogin, six (6) in Gombe, four (4) in Adamawa, three (3) in FCT Abuja, one (1) in Ondo, one (1) in Oyo, one (1) in Rivers, one (1) in Zamfara, one (1) in Borno and one (1) in Bauchi State.
