Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 665, 188 Discharged and 22 Dead in Nigeria

On Monday evening, April 19, 2020, the Nigerian Government has recorded new cases of the coronavirus disease. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported thirty-eight (38) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official count of 665 confirmed cases, 188 discharged cases and 22 reported dead. The information on the corona disease cases was reported by NCDC official Twitter page approximately 11:10 PM.

The new coronavirus cases were reported across 8 states. The state includes: twenty-three (23) tested positive in Kano, five (5) in Gombe, three (3) in Kaduna, two (2) in Abia, two (2) in Borno, one (1) in Sokoto, one (1) in Ekiti and one (1) in FCT Abuja.
