Coronavirus Cases (CONVID19) Rise to 627, 170 Discharged and 21 Dead in Nigeria

On Sunday evening, April 19, the Nigerian Government has recorded the highest number of new cases of the coronavirus disease. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported eighty-six (86) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official count of 627 confirmed cases, 170 discharged cases and 21 reported dead. The information on the corona disease cases was reported by NCDC official Twitter page at about 11:50 PM.

 

The new coronavirus cases were reported across 7 states. The state includes: seventy (70) tested positive in Lagos, seven (7) in FTC Abuja, three (3) in Akwa Ibom, one (1) in Borno, one (1) in Bauchi and one (1) in Jigawa State.
