Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 2558, 400 Discharged and 87 Dead in Nigeria

On Sunday evening, May 3, 2020, the Nigerian Government has recorded new cases of the coronavirus disease. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported one hundred and seventy (170) confirmed new coronavirus infection cases. There has been an official count of 2558 confirmed cases, 400 discharged cases and 87 reported dead. The information on the corona disease cases was reported by NCDC official Twitter account at about midnight.

 

The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across twelve (12) states. The state includes: thirty-nine (39) tested positive in Lagos, twenty-nine (29) in Kano, twenty-four (24) in Ogun, eighteen (18) in Bauchi, fifteen (15) in Kaduna, twelve (12) in FCT Abuja, twelve (12) in Sokoto, eight (8) in Katsina, seven (7) in Borno, three (3) in Nasarawa, two (2) in Adamawa and one (1) in Oyo State
