Nigerians certainly continue to combat against the global pandemic coronavirus disease. According to the Nigerian Government, the nation has documented the highest new case of coronavirus infection on Wednesday evening, April 29, 2020. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has officially reported one hundred and ninety-six (196) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official count of 1728 confirmed cases, 307 discharged cases and 51 reported dead in 34 states and Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The report on the corona disease cases was revealed by NCDC official Twitter page approximately 11:55 PM.
The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across Twelve (12) states. The state includes: eighty-seven (87) tested positive in Lagos, twenty-four (24) in Kano, eighteen (18) in Gombe, seventeen (17) in Kaduna, sixteen (16) in FCT Abuja, ten (10) in Katsina, eight (8) in Sokoto, seven (7) in Edo, six (6) in Borno, one (1) in Ebonyi, one (1) in Yobe and one (1) in Adamawa State.
