Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 1532, 255 Discharged and 44 Dead in Nigeria

Nigerians indubitably continue to fight against the global pandemic coronavirus disease. According to the Nigerian Government, the nation has recorded the highest new case of coronavirus infection on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2020. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported one hundred and ninety-five (195) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official count of 1532 confirmed cases, 255 discharged cases and 44 reported dead. The report on the corona disease cases was revealed by NCDC official Twitter account at about 11:50 PM.

 

The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across fifteen (15) states. The state includes: eighty (80) tested positive in Lagos, thirty-eight (38) in Kano, fifteen (15) in Bauchi, fifteen (15) in Ogun, eleven (11) in Borno, ten (10) in Gombe, nine (9) in Sokoto, five (5) in Jigawa, five (5) in Edo, two (2) in Zamfara, one (1) in FCT Abuja, one (1) in Enugu, one (1) in River, one (1) in Delta and one (1) in Nasarawa State.
