Coronavirus Cases (COVID19) Rise to 1273, 239 Discharged and 40 Dead in Nigeria

Nigerians indisputably continue to fight against the universal pandemic coronavirus infection. As stated by the Nigerian Government, the nation has recorded the highest new case of coronavirus disease on Saturday evening, April 26, 2020. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has documented ninety-one (91) confirmed new coronavirus disease cases. There has been an official record of 1273 confirmed cases, 239 discharged cases and 40 reported dead. The information on the corona disease cases was announced by NCDC official Twitter page approximately 11:50 PM.

The new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported across 16 states. The state includes: forty-three (43) tested positive in Lagos, eight (8) Sokoto, six (6) in Taraba, five (5) in Gombe, three (3) Ondo, three (3) in FCT Abuja, three (3) Edo, three (3) in Oyo, three (3) Rivers, three in (3) in Bauchi, two (2) in Osun, one (1) Akwa Ibom, one (1) Bayelsa, one (1) Ebonyi, one (1) in Kebbi State.
