Popular Actress Funke Akinde and her beloved husband, Abdulrasheed Bello usually called JJC Skillz, appeared before the Chief Magistrate Court, Ogba, Lagos, pleaded guilty. The couple appeared before the court on Monday 6, April 2020. They both pleaded guilty to violating the lockdown order of Lagos State government on public associations and social gatherings.
The talented Nollywood actress, Funke and JJC Skillz were sentenced to two weeks’ community service each. Also, the chief judge ordered them to pay a sum of a hundred thousand naira each. The charge was filed by Moyosore Onigbanjo who is the Attorney General of Lagos State. They were charged to court by the State Criminal Investigation (SCID) Yaba, headed by Yetunde Longe who is the deputy commissioner of police in charge of the investigation.

NigerianFacts reported that Akindele and her hubby were arrested for organising a house party in their private residence on Saturday, April 4 as against the restriction in movement and social distance order given by the Lagos State government as an essential part of ways to reduce the spread of coronavirus disease in the country.
