Whenever the question of the most beautiful university campus in Nigeria is raised, most Nigerians are quick to mention the likes of Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, University of Benin, Ahmadu Bello University, and so on.

But there’s one university that many people seem not to admire — simply because they’ve not been able to behold its beautiful scenery and structures. And that’s the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Arguably the best third-generation public university in Nigeria, FUNAAB was established on the 1st of January 1988, and has since remained one of the most reputable government-owned institutions of higher learning. As the school’s name implies, the school offers majorly agriculture-related courses, but has over the years included in its offerings, non-agricultural courses like biochemistry, engineering, microbiology, accounting, and so on.
