Fela, Fela Kuti or Fela Anikulapo Kuti, which ever name you know him as was a professional musician, instrumentalist, music writer and the king of Afrobeat music genre.

He was not just a musician but he used his music as a weapon being a human rights activists. He was born on the 15th of October 1938 in Ogun State, Nigeria by his father Rev. Israel Oludotun Ransome-Kuti and his mother Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti.

He was sent to London to study medicine in 1958 but eventually decided to study music instead. He was so well know in Nigeria and round the world until his death from complications related to AIDS on the 3rd of August 1997.

Till today people have often wondered who the Legend Fela was trying to relate to him by searching and listening to his music, most especially those addressing the political rot of the country and so we have decided to make a list of all Fela songs.
